Thank you for your interest in being a vendor when RAGBRAI arrives in Fort Dodge on July 20th and
departs on July 21st! We want every individual, organization and business to be successful, which in
turn will make RAGBRAI a success for the entire community. The task of serving so many in one
evening is big, and we hope that with the willingness and cooperation of so many, Fort Dodge can be
hospitable and accommodating to all of our visitors. Our food and non‐food vendors are an important
part of our success. As we plan for this event to be a winning situation for the whole community,
please consider purchasing your supplies locally.
Application Checklist
Any vendor who is planning to sell food, will need to complete item number one first. An application for the Temporary
Food Establishment License through the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals is attached and needs to be
submitted to their office with the appropriate fee. A copy of this application will need to be submitted with our Fort
Dodge RAGBRAI Vendor Application for processing. Once you receive the Temporary License from the State, a copy of it
will need to be provided as well. The following items must accompany this application form: 1.
Food vendors are required to obtain and provide proof of appropriate food license. License applications ,
requirements, and contacts can be found at http://www.dia.iowa.gov/page27.html. All applications
should be sent to the address on the food license application form. Penalties will be assessed by Iowa
Department of Inspection and Appeals if food license application is not submitted prior to the event.

RAGBRAI occurs regardless of weather, therefore no refunds will be given due to weather. If you need to cancel an application after approved, and it is prior to July 1, 2015, you are entitled to a 50% refund of your fee. The Vendor Committee reserves the right to deny any application based on need, space availability and/or vendor intent.
