Thank you for your support on this exciting day! We are
expecting more than 4,000 participants in our Spring 5k.
This event guide will provide event details to enhance
your experience.
More than 1500 girls and 600 coaches have been working hard this season and are excited for the upcoming
5k celebration event! Our event would not be possible
without more than 400 race day volunteers, sponsors
and partners.

WHY:
To celebrate 1500 girls who have completed the GOTR sea
son and their first 5k event. Furthermore, proceeds go to
ensuring all girls are able to participate in the GOTR pro
gram!
What to Wear:
GOTR coaches and girls should wear their #1 bibs and public participants should be identified by their sequential number bib. Please dress according to the weather, we are a rain or
shine event!
Medals:
Finisher medals are included in the GOTR program cost and are reserved for GOTR program participants only and are identified by
their #1 bib. We reserve a limited quantity of finisher ribbons for our
other community youth participants. Please help us ensure that
these medals and ribbons are reserved for the rightful participants.

There are two ways to register for the Girls on the Run 5k.

Packet Pick-Up:

Free parking behind the building and on the street. We are located on the lower level.

5k packets include a 5k t-shirt and bib.

Credit, Check and cash accepted.

GOTR participants will receive their bib and shirt from their coach and do not need to
be picked up.

Some coaches pick up their for their team’s running buddies. Please ask your coach
ahead of time if they are being picked up in advance.
We are continuing to expand our packet pickup merchandise selection and look forward to
sharing it with you.
We will accept credit, check and cash.
Weather:
Be prepared to run in any weather, the 5k will go on regardless of inclement
weather, so be sure to dress warm and in layers. Inclement weather will be monitored
closely and delays will be implemented as necessary. In the unfortunate event of an event
cancelation we do not have a weather makeup date.
Running Buddies:
Each GOTR participant selects someone to participate in the entire 5k celebration
with her. From the time of arrival until after returning to the team sign after 5k completion, we ask all running buddies to stay with their GOTR participant. Thank you for
being a special part of this day!
Upon Arrival:
GOTR coaches/participants: Check in at your team sign (in alphabetical order)
Pre-registered (needing to pick up bib): Pre-Registration, upper level
Day-of registration: Registration, upper level
Tshirt pick-up: upper level, please visit registration first; shirts available pre/post race
Volunteers & Sponsors: Volunteer/Sponsor Check-in, corner of Central & Mehring
Restrooms: Upper level of Stadium
Run For a Reason: Corner of Central & Pete Rose (stadium side)
Lost Persons:
Upon arrival please designate a meeting spot with your
party in case of separation. Any lost parties can report to
the SoleMate booth on the corner of Central & Mehring
Way (stadium side) for assistance.
Pet Policy:
Sorry, we ask that all furry friends be left at home to ensure the safety of
all attendees both on and off the course.

Merchandise:
Stop by and check out the season’s selection. Cash, check and credit cards accepted. Located
near the DJ on the corner of Central & Mehring.
Enjoy a free reusable Athleta shopping bag on purchases $50 and more (while supplies last)
Concessions:
Bean 2 Brew will be set up on the corner of Central & Pete Rose Way offering coffee, hot
chocolate and water for $1. All donations will be directly applied to future GOTR scholarships.
T-shirts:
T-shirts are available both before and after the 5k on the upper level of Paul Brown Stadium. Please have your bib tear-off tab to redeem your shirt.

Directions & Parking:
Lot D – Enter Lot D from Mehring Way near Elm Street; $5 cash/credit parking
From SB/ NB I-75: Use the 2nd St. exit, Turn right onto Elm St, Turn Left onto Mehring Way, Turn left
into lot.
From I-71 / 471: Use the 3rd St. exit, Follow 3rd St. to Walnut St., Left onto Walnut St., Left onto 2nd
St., Right onto Main St., Right onto Mehring Way, Right into parking lot.
Note: Mehring Way will close ahead of the event between 8-8:30am, so please arrive early!
Lot One – Corner of W. Pete Rose Way / Central Ave; $5 cash parking
There are two entrances to this lot: #1 on Central Ave and #2 on W. Pete Rose Way
From SB I-75: Use the Freeman Ave exit to Mehring Way, Turn Left onto Mehring Way, Turn Left onto W. Pete Rose Way to entrance #2.
From NB I-75: Use 5th St. exit ramp, Turn right on Central Ave to entrance #1.

Bus Parking – Follow the directions to Lot One. Busses are allowed to drop off participants and then park in
the back of Longworth Hall, which is just West of Lot One on W Pete Rose Way.

Central Riverfront Garage – This is a large parking lot underground between the Bengals Stadium & the Reds
Stadium under the Banks. Entrances may be limited due to construction on Freedom Way. There are
entrances from Mehring Way, Elm Street at 2nd, Pete Rose Way, and Joe Nuxhall Way.
NOTE: This lot charges $3 first hour, $5 second hour, $7 third hour, max rate of $9.

9:42 Participants will begin to travel to their wave start line only after hearing the announcement for the correct tier.
