Salvation Army Picnic, Sunday, June 14th - 3:00 - 6:30 P.M.: Mark your calendars now to volunteer at the annual picnic hosted by Faith United for clients of the Salvation Army. April 25, 2015 – 2:30 pm Knox Presbyterian Church, 170 Main Street East, Milton "Celebrating 160 years service to Milton" The first concert in the 2015 music series will be a great afternoon of traditional secular and sacred tunes from Scotland and Ireland. The Celtic singers are under the direction of Sue Anderson. "Imagining Milton Through Story" One-City Conference Friday, May 1 from 6:30–9:30 pm & Saturday, May 2 from 8:30am–12:00noon Milton Christian School, 45 Bruce Street, Milton Hosted by Milton Ministerial Association and Milton Area Christian Churches Working Together, this Christian conference will focus on the theme: "One City – Churches Loving Milton". On Friday evening the guest speaker will talk about the very successful One City initiative and hear how love and kindness is Brantford, Georgetown and Hamilton too. Connect with others, share your stories and dream with breakout groups on youth, mental illness and addictions, the environment, the homeless, the elderly, food banks and sharing the gospel. Like a Mother’s Love: (6th Annual Fundraiser)– Silent Auction and Concert on Friday, May 8 – 7:30-9:30 pm at St. Matthew’s Church, 126 Plains Rd. All proceeds in support of “Home of Grace Care Centre.” CON SPIRITU – Spring Concert Friday, May 8 at 8 pm in Hammerson Hall, Living Arts Centre, Mississauga The Mississauga Festival Choir will feature music of the Americas, and will be one of the first official cultural events marking the Pan American Games in July. Music from South, Central and North America with featured artist Eliana Cuevas, backed up by the lively rhythms of the Samba Squad. Tickets: $32 for seniors and students, and $37 for adults.
