No Drop-In Programs the week of Spring Break.
Every day, the Family Museum presents delightful Drop-In programs that support the developmental needs of kids age 8 and under.
Programs will take place in our exhibit galleries, kid-friendly classrooms, dance studios, or right under the rainbow ceiling in our Great
Hall! All programs are included with your Family Museum admission or membership.
Music in Motion Mondays!
Mondays: 9:15 -10:00 am and 10:15 - 11:00 am
Age: Toddlers (with an adult)

Tiny Tot Imagination and Movement
Thursdays: 9:30 - 10:00 am *New Time
Age: Toddlers with adult
Dance A/B
Lots of music and plenty of action take place as little ones clap, hop, tiptoe, run, and scoot
thorough a variety of movements! This fun program always ends with some social play time on
soft gym equipment, so little ones can learn to follow directions and take turns.
Who does not like to play “make believe?” Your little ones will enjoy some warm up
time followed by movements that help them use their imagination! Tiptoe through
the forest, fly like a kite, crawl like a bear! This is an interactive adventure for kids and
adults to experience together!
Open Art Studio
Mondays - Fridays: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Age: Families (children under 14 must be with an adult)
Kids and their adults can stop in and get creative! Explore many forms of visual art, paint,
sculpt, collage, and more in our fully equipped upstairs art studio. A new project each week!
Open Clay Studio
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 3:00 -5:00 pm
Thursdays (Age 18+ Only): 5:30 -7:30 pm
Fridays: 9:00 am - Noon - Day Added!
Saturdays: 11:00 am -1:00 pm and 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Age: 3 and up with adult
Come get your hands dirty in the clay studio! Families can explore a variety of clay and
experiment with diﬀerent building techniques. Try your hands at the pottery wheel with fifteen
minutes of individual instruction time. There is no charge to play; if you’d like to keep
certain projects a $5.00 material, firing, and glazing fee will apply.
Tiny Tot Open Play Time
Tuesdays: 10:00 - 11:30 am
Age: Toddlers with adult
Dance Room C
Bring the little ones for some interactive play time! Slides, scooters, Hula Hoops and tunnels…
you never know what fun things will be out for your toddlers to play on. Little ones can learn to
take turns and make new friends. Parents must stay, please.

Join Speech and Language Specialists from the Mississippi Bend Area Education
Agency as they help get little ones talking. Parents and kids will meet in Dance Room
A for a short instructional lesson by the AEA staﬀ, followed by playtime in one of our
Exhibit Galleries. *Program size may be limited to 15-20 participants

for everyone!
Drop-In programs are designed for families to
participate in together. These are not “drop-oﬀ”
programs. For safety reasons, Children under 14
years old must be accompanied by an adult at all
times while in the Museum.
