Why use natural soap?
Natural soap products are best for those who have
sensitive skin. Most bath bars and liquid soaps we
have today are made of strong ingredients and
chemicals. Using natural and organic soaps will
ensure that you are not exposing your skin to these
harsh chemicals.
If you would like to pamper yourself, give your skin
the nourishing luxury it needs. You might not be able
to find this with commercial bath soaps.
Olive oil in our bath bars give you a smooth, radiant
complexion, help maintain elasticity of skin, heal
brittle nails and soften cuticles. Olive oil also
conditions and adds shine to your hair.
Coconut oil in our bars moisturises and softens the
skin. It is effective and safe when used as a
moisturizer, with absence of adverse reactions.
Coconut oil in our bath bars give that creamy lather.
How do we make our luxury soaps?
Our bath soaps are made with the cold process method. We start with a solution of
sodium hydroxide (lye) and water. The solution is mixed with our base of olive oil for its
rich moisturizing properties and coconut oil for its natural lather.
The oils and lye combine to form soap and this is known as saponification. Molecules are
rearranged during saponification, and the end result is a five parts soap and one part
glycerin. Glycerin has wonderful hydrating properties and prevents your skin from drying
and becoming scaly. So our bath soap is a moisturizing cleanser.
Essential oils, botanicals, herbs, spices, and additional emollients are added. Some soaps
have natural colorants as well. We minimize on color and mostly use natural coloring
such as flower petals, cocoa, coffee, cochineal and extracts of fruits and herbs .
The essential oils we use, contain natural anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic,
antiseptic, and antiviral properties.
We do not use any synthesized chemicals like alcohol and sulphates or preservatives.
We do not use SLS in our bath soaps. SLS, a harsh chemical is used in commercially
manufactured soaps and detergents to produce lather. The gentle creamy lather you get
from Petals & Herbs Natural Bath Soap is from the coconut oil we use in our soaps.

Tea Tree Oil Soap for Acne
Tea tree oil has been proven to be a powerful yet
natural antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal medicine
(essential oil).
It is being used as a very effective first aid remedy
for skin ailments, infections, cuts, scrapes, burns,
insect bites and skin spots etc. Tea tree oil is
effective against nail fungus, ringworm, athlete’s
foot, dandruff, acne, blackheads and many types of
infestations including lice, mites, scabies and
mosquitoes etc…
Tea tree oil is not just soothing, it is disinfectant,
analgesic (pain-killing) and cicatrizant (woundhealing qualities) .It has a diaphoretic effect – It
promotes sweating – which enhances the body’s
own natural preventative response when
threatened by infection.
Milk Soap for Acne
Milk is beneficial to the skin. After intense physical exercise, for example, our muscles create
lactic acid which dissolves the bond that holds dead cells of the skin, penetrate the skin’s
deepest layers. Lactic acid is a kind of Alpha Hydroxy Acids – (AHA).
Milk contains vitamins A and E known to have a positive effect on the complexion. After using
it on the face, the skin looks rested.The proteins contained in milk, smooth the skin, and
enzymes help its rejuvenation. Milk helps dry skin regain its moisture.
Chamomile
Chamomile is considered to be an antiseptic, antibiotic,
disinfectant, bactericidal & Vermifuge. Helps sooth the
skin. Helps dandruff, acne and skin conditions. Our
chamomile bar has a gentle floral scent.
Calendula
Calendula known as marigold is used for the treatment of
skin disorders and pain, and as a bactericide, antiseptic
and anti-inflammatory. We use oil infused in calendula
petals. You will find little yellow petals in this bath bar.
Sandalwood
Sandalwood essential oil is a mild antiseptic. Due to this
antimicrobial property, it can be used to have clear skin
free of blackheads and spots. This woody fragrance is
heavenly.
Lime fresh
Lemon essential oil helps in Acne
Treatment. It
naturally lightens the skin as it inhibits
melanin
production. It is also an Antibacterial.
Lemon is good
for refreshing the skin. It is a natural
deodorant.
