Refunds for cancellations after the sign-up deadline are at the sole discretion of the golf
course. The Board will return entry fees refunded by the course.
This tournament includes an optional qualifier for the NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net
Championship. Only full members of FFIC Golf Club are eligible for the NCGA
Qualifying event. Associate members, whose NCGA membership is through another
club, cannot represent FFIC Golf Club in NCGA events. Associate members can
compete in this Individual Medal Play event at Bennett Valley.
You must have an established Handicap Index to enter the NCGA QUALIFIER.
Qualifying teams will compete at 90% course handicaps for men and 95% for women.
Our Club can send one two person team. Qualifiers must have reached their 55th
birthday by August 31, 2015 and have a numeric handicap index listed on their club’s
Master Report not to exceed 36.4 (men) or 40.4 (women) on the date of registration. All
players with handicap indexes of 18.5 and above are eligible, but must play to a
maximum handicap index of 18.4. If partners’ course handicaps differ by more than 8
strokes, an additional 10 percent reduction will be applied to their course handicaps.
Those signing up as teams for the Qualifier will ALSO play Two Person Better Ball (and
must hole out all balls to play in the Medal Tournament).
Cost to compete in the Sectional Qualifier (course TBD) on July 29 is $138/team. Cost
for the Championship at Poppy Hills on August 31 and September 1 is $300/team.
Please ensure you are available to play all three days before signing up for the
qualifier.
Timely payment of the entry fee to the NCGA prior to the registration deadline is the
responsibility of the competitors. Failure to submit timely payment to the NCGA prior to
the submission deadline will forfeit your right to represent the FFIC Golf Club
In the event of tie scores, winners will be determined by the NCGA method of matching
scorecards
