FORMAT - 4 Man Team - Sum of two best balls out of the four-man team used for Championship
Tournament. NCGA Qualifiers play as twosomes—best ball.
ENTRY DEADLINE: THURSDAY APRIL 9th 2015 @ 4 P.M.
ENTRY FEE - $25 per person or $35 per person with NCGA Entry. Includes beer, soda, & a $7 ticket at
the SPORTS LOUNGE after second round of play (Sunday). Detach Entry Form below and attach check
payable to LOPMGC. Submit entries through LOPMGC Entry Box.
GENERAL INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY - Entries are limited to LOP Men’s club members with an established NCGA handicap.
Players in the regular men’s club event are limited to a max handicap of 38 and a max differential of 8
strokes between team members parings. NCGA Qualifier entries require max. index of 18.4 and a max.
differential between players of 8 strokes.
FLIGHTS - Teams will be broken into two flights by handicap.
HANDICAPS - 90% of April NCGA Index will be used to compute handicaps.
CONDITIONS OF PLAY - 36 Holes over two days. Teams will be split into pairs and play with
competitor pairs. Better ball scores of twosomes will be used for NCGA qualifier only – 2 teams will
qualify to represent the LOPMGC. The Club Tournament score is tabulated by totaling the 2 best ball
scores of the 4 players. The overall champion will be the team with the lowest two-day team total. Ties
for overall winner will be broken by a 3-hole playoff immediately after the end of regular play.
REFRESHMENTS – Beer, soda, and a $7 ticket will be provided, for players only, at the conclusion of
play on Sunday. Winners will be announced within an hour from the conclusion of play.
PRIZES - Tournament prizes will be merchandise credit in the Pro Shop. Closest to the pin on the 7th &
15th holes, both days.
