About Us
Calderfields Golf & Country Club plays host to bespoke weddings for members and non-members,
ensuring that your wedding reflects your individual personality, taste and style. Why not come and visit us
and see the beautiful grounds and wonderful facilities for yourself. Our experienced wedding co-ordinator
will work together with you to ensure that your wedding day is planned to perfection totally enjoyable,
stress-free and unforgettable.
Every couple dreams of the perfect wedding day. So we take care of every detail to ensure that every aspect
of your special day lives up to your expectations and that your guests relax and enjoy themselves. The details
inevitably vary, but one constant remains, Calderfields Golf & Country Club turns dreams into reality.

We would be delighted to show you the facilities to ensure that you are able to make a choice that fulfils your

Your wedding co-ordinator can call on years of experience from our whole team and will guide you
through the build up before they hand you over to your wedding host, who will be there on the day to ensure
everything runs smoothly. Your co-ordinator and host work closely together to make sure all the little details
go just as you planned. There is so much to organise, so let us take the strain and do the hard work for you.

Civil Weddings &
Partnerships
Civil marriage ceremonies can be performed in our licensed room at Calderfields, your whole day can be
set within the grounds so you and your guests don't need to worry about travelling from the church or registry
office to the reception.
Our civil room can host ceremonies for up to 60 people. The rest of your guests can join you for your
evening celebrations in our bespoke function room that caters for up to 300 people.
The first step in booking a civil ceremony is to reserve and confirm a date and time with us at Calderfields.
Then you must arrange the Registrar staff to attend. Our Wedding co-ordinator can advise you further on the
process once you have booked a date.

Accommodation is now available for you and your
guests at Calderfields and all of our rooms provide a
stunning panoramic view of our golf course. Why not
have a perfect finish to your perfect day for both you
and your guests?
Our accommodation couldn't provide any more.
Beautiful surroundings, lovely twin bedrooms, modern
en-suites, room service, tea and coffee facilities, colour
flat screen televisions with freeview and telephone.
Our current rates are:

Your Menu
Following you will find a selection of our wedding menus, buffet menus and drinks prices. These menus
are a guide and if you wish to change any of these, mix the menus or add courses we will be pleased to
arrange a price for you. If you have you own favourite dish or wish to create your menu, please contact us
and our head chef will be pleased to discuss this with you. A separate children's menu is available if
required.
We are able to cater for any dietary requirements that guests in your party may have, please give us prior
knowledge so we can arrange an alternative.
Arrival/Toast Drinks
When your guests arrive it is customary to offer them a drink as they gather and wait for the arrival of the
bride and groom, or if you are using our civil room you can request that we serve you and your guests after
the ceremony. A range of drinks are offered, you can choose from the following: Bucks Fizz, Sparkling
Rose, White Wine, Red Wine, Rose Wine, Sherry, Pimms and Lemonade or Fresh Orange Juice. You can
also have any of the above served to your table for a toast drink.

Information
PAYMENTS
A deposit of £500.00 is required for all functions on confirmation and is non-refundable in the event of
cancellation or postponement of your event.
The final balance must be received no less than 60 days before the event. Any alterations made after this date
is non refundable.

CHILDREN
It is not usual to cater for babies less than 18 months but we are happy to heat baby food and bottles. Infants
(3 & under) are catered for free of charge. Children aged (3 - 10) are charged half the adult price.
We usually suggest a simple platter of chicken goujons with home made fries followed with ice cream.
Children (10 and over) are charged at full price.
All children (3 and over) attending evening parties must be catered for.
Please note all children occupy a full place on your table plan. We offer up to 4 high chairs and if required you
should indicate these on your plan.
Children must remain under close supervision and remain within the areas designated to your event at all
times.
FLOWERS & BALLOONS
You are welcome to provide table decorations in which case they may be delivered to the venue on the
morning of your Reception.

Your Questions Answered
We've got a date in mind for our wedding - what do we do now?
Because we take wedding bookings so far in advance you should contact us as soon as possible to
check availability. We sometimes have dates available up to the last minute, especially for less
traditional days such as midweek and Sundays, so it's often worthwhile giving us a call. At this point
we can also arrange for you to come and visit the club, have a look around and discuss your general
requirements.
You have the availability on the date we want, how do we confirm our booking?
We will provisionally hold the date for you for a pre-agreed period of time, up to 7 days. To confirm
your booking, all you need to do is sign and return a copy of the Terms & conditions of booking,
together with your deposit.
When do we discuss the finer details?
Your personal wedding co-ordinator will arrange to meet with you 6 - 8 weeks before your big day to
discuss everything you will need to know; menus, flowers, table plans etc. They will be your main
point of contact up until the day itself at which point your wedding host will take over and ensure your
day goes smoothly. If you wish to meet any time beforehand, don't hesitate to contact us.
When do we need to agree our final numbers?
To allow us to plan your wedding efficiently you will need to provide us with final guest numbers 60
days prior to the wedding.
When will we need to pay the final balance?
Full payment of the balance is due 60 days before your wedding.
Who will be around on the day itself to make sure everything goes as planned?
On the day itself you will be met by your wedding host who will be on-hand to provide their support
and ensure everything happens exactly as you planned. They will have worked closely with your
wedding co-ordinator beforehand to ensure they have a thorough understanding of every single detail,
so you don't need to have any worries.

Terms and Conditions
All reservations at Calderfields Golf & Country Club are accepted subject to the following conditions
1.
A reservation is only confirmed on receipt of a non refundable deposit of £500.00. Provisional bookings will only be held for
a maximum of 7 days. A further £1000.00 is payable 90 days prior to the event.
2.
Calderfields operate a minimum numbers policy which allows for a maximum 10% reduction in numbers that are given at the
time of paying the function deposit. Final numbers of persons are required 4 weeks prior to the function. Catering and charging will be
based on such numbers not withstanding that the number of attendees may be less. If more than the guaranteed number attend the
function the client will be charged according to the number attending.
3.
All balances must be paid 60 days prior to the event.

Direct debit schemes are available.
5.
Should the client wish to cancel the event, the club reserves the right to claim the following sums, unless a booking is obtained
for the same date(s) from a third party on no less favourable terms. Cancellation 12 months in advance deposit forfeited. Cancellation
between 12 & 9 months in advance 85% of total estimated charges. Cancellation between 9 & 3 months in advance 95% of total
estimated charges. Cancellation between 3 months & 30 days in advance 100% of total estimated charges. Cancellations less than 30
days in advance 100% of estimated charges plus 5% cancellation charge. In all instances notification of cancellation must be made in
writing and will be effective on the date received by the club.
6.
The club may cancel the booking under the following circumstances. If the club or part of it is closed due to circumstances
beyond its control. If the client is more than 7 days in arrears of any payment to the club. To avoid a breach of these conditions. If it
might prejudice the reputation of or cause damage to the club (If in such an event the club will refund any advance payments except the
initial deposit made but will have no further liability to the client.
7.
The clients and persons attending the club shall. Comply with all licencing, health & safety, and other regulations relating to
the club. Not bring any dangerous or hazardous items into the club. Not bring or allow to be brought liquor from outside the club for
consumption during a function at the club. Not consume either food or drink in the club not supplied by the club without the clubs prior
written consent . Not bring any electrical equipment onto the premises without the clubs prior written consent. Provide PAT testing and
public liability certificates for all equipment authorised to be brought onto the premises. Provide written agreement that all entertainers
(ie DJs, bands) will bring no PA equipment into the club and agreement that all music will be played through the in-house PA system.
Any persons or item in breach of these conditions may be refused admission to or be removed from the club.
8.
Liability: The club will not be liable to the client and or persons attending the function for injury to persons or loss or damage
to property unless proved to be negligent. The client will be liable for any loss or damage to the clubs property (including items hired
for their use) and will be charged accordingly. The client is advised to consider arranging insurance for the function covering public
liability and loss or damage to its property and that of persons attending the function.
9.
General: The club will take all responsible steps to fulfil the reservations to the best of its ability and in accordance with the
details provided. However, it reserves the right to provide alternative services of at least an equivalent standard at no additional cost to
the client and the client shall have no claim in respect of such alternative services. The club reserves the right to pass onto the client any
additional costs incurred by them for goods and services requested during the course of the function or caused by the client not
adhering to the agreed times for services. Whilst the company has taken all reasonable steps that the information contained in its
brochures, tariffs, leaflets & advertisements are accurate it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility or
amenity without notice if necessary.
