*Northwestern State University awards loans and Grants on an Academic Year Basis ending with the Summer Session.
Therefore, any amounts borrowed in the Fall 2014 - Spring 2015 Semesters will affect your summer eligibility amount.
Grad and Undergrad students must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours in order to receive a student loan. Students
cannot borrow more than the amounts listed above for the full academic year or more than their cost of attendance.




I understand that my eligibility for my student loan disbursement will not occur until I begin attending 6 hours and at
that time I will have two disbursements on my loan.
I understand that my eligibility for my second student loan disbursement does not begin until approximately the
midpoint of my summer loan period.
I understand that my financial aid award is based off my summer registration hours and that my award will be adjusted
if my registered hours change.
