If you received a Pell grant and were enrolled full time in both the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015
terms you will not be eligible for a Pell Grant for the Summer because you will have used up
your eligibility for this year. You most likely only have loan eligibility.
If you were enrolled part time during the Fall or Spring terms at RVCC or at another institution you may have
remaining Pell grant eligibility in the Summer 2015 semester. Eligibility will be determined by the following factors





You have completed the 2014-15 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
You have declared a major. (Visiting students are not eligible for financial aid)
You have not used up your total Pell grant or Loan eligibility during the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 terms at
RVCC or elsewhere.
You are making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). If you are receiving probationary financial aid, your
SAP will be determined after the Spring 2015 term ends.
You have submitted all required documents to the Financial Aid Office.
Did you receive financial aid (grants or loans) in 2014-15? Y or N.
