Summer Camps Shh…Don’t tell them it’s educational! 2015 Summer Camps June 22nd—25th Robotics Rescue Mission (9 a.m. – 12 noon) Ages 10+ Camps will take place at the Big Fab Lab in the Woodland Mall, North Main Street, Bowling Green Call 419-‐701-‐9529 to register Early Registration through May 31st is $99 per child. After May 31st, the cost is $110 per child. Siblings receive $10 discount. Great way to get a taste of what FLL is all about! Build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under FLL’s signature set of Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®. Amusement Park Adventures (1-4 p.m.) Ages 7+ Design your own amusement park in this super fun program! Learn how to use Lego® bricks and other building materials to make coasters and other awesome rides. Can you design the next Disney World? July 20th-23rd Combat Robots (9 a.m. – 12 noon) Ages 7+ Do you think you can build the strongest and most agile robot? Come learn engineering strategies for building sturdy structures and then apply that knowledge to build a robot for friendly competition. You’ll have a blast as you play robot football and complete the hoop challenge in this fun robotics program. Animation Studio (1-4 p.m.) Ages 7+ Create amazing movies with stop motion animation using Lego® bricks. Children will work in teams to produce their very own movie complete with dialog and sound effects. Movies are uploaded to a secure site for family and friends to see how cool they are\! August 10th-13th EPIC Minecraft (9 a.m. – 12 noon) Travel to the Nether with Snapology, but watch out for those creepers! With Lego® Bricks, create a Minecraft® world, including animals, creepers and a Minecraft® character. Technical and advanced Minecraft building are part of this amazing class.
