Making the transition to
Chatterton Middle School
To help familiarize our 5th grade students with our middle school,
students will be invited to enjoy many events at Chatterton. The activities
and events will also help ease the anxiety often associated with
transitioning to the next grade level and a new school.
On February 25, 2015, the transition process will begin with Mound Park
and Westview Student Council groups meeting with Chatterton’s Student
Council for breakfast.

The Chatterton Parent Group will host a meeting to welcome 5 grade
parents to the middle school. Chatterton principals will be available to
meet with parents at each elementary on the following dates:
 Mound Park: February 26 & March 31
 Westview: February 25 & March 25
We look forward to helping your 5th grader make a successful transition
