Workshop Synopsis
Are you or other people in your organization being under-valued
or not reaching their full potential due to political naivety ?
Are you or your colleagues pretending that Organizational Politics
doesn’t
exist ?
Are you afraid that by entering the political arena you will have to
sacrifice your personal integrity ?
If so, then you are not alone, but it needn’t be like that - this
interactive workshop will lead participants through a learning
journey to show that you can “ navigate “ the political landscape
and still remain ethical.

This workshop is for anyone who dislikes or ignores organizational
politics in their organization.
It’s particularly suited to anyone with Leadership and Management
responsibility, but is also valuable for Subject Matter Experts and others
who may feel that their contribution is not being recognized and valued.
It can also give an added dimension to Facilitators, Trainers,
Coaches and Consultants working in the areas of Leadership and
Personal development.

Workshop Objectives/Outcomes
Upon completion of the workshop, you will:

Appreciate the reality of organizational politics and that it is
possible to be “ politically savvy “ AND maintain integrity
Understand the signs of political naivety
Recognize the key elements of 2 political styles and the
dangers of being extreme in either style
Use a variety of practical, non-manipulative strategies and
tools to prepare for and navigate the political arena in a
positive manner
Write and practice an Elevator Speech

Cancellation and Postponement
Upon registration, the full workshop fee is payable regardless of attendance because of our financial precommitment for the workshop facilitator(s), workshop materials and seminar package. We welcome replacement.
A cancellation fee of SGD300 will apply for postponement, cancellation or withdrawal by the participant. After
commencement, we are unable to refund any part of the workshop not utilised.
FNS reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event due to unforeseen circumstances. Fees paid will be fully
refunded in the event of course cancellation by FNS.

Profile of FNS
Facilitators Network Singapore (FNS) was formed
in 2003 with the mission of promoting and
supporting the art and practice of professional
facilitation in Singapore and the region through
methods exchange, collegial networking and
support services.
As a social enterprise, FNS operates with the agility
of a private enterprise with a non-profiteering
intent, managed by a non-remunerated volunteer
team. Trained facilitators from FNS volunteer their
services to Voluntary Welfare and Not-For-Profit
Organisations. FNS organises regular learning and
development activities for local and regional
network of facilitators.
FNS provides training, facilitation and OD
consultancy services for corporation at affordable
professional fees.
FNS provides certification for the Certified
Competent Facilitator (CCF), endorsed by the
International Institute for Facilitation (INIFAC).
