Previously, he had a long career with a major North American bank responsible for the international operations of investment banking, structured finance and latterly wealth management. She is also Managing Partner in GAO Advisors which is the hedge fund advisory unit of GAO Capital. GAO Advisors helps family offices and foundations create hedge fund portfolios customised to their needs. Ms. Yak is primarily responsible for sourcing and researching new managers, with a focus on funds in Asia and trading-oriented strategies. Hannatu holds a joint honours BA degree in Theology and Philosophy from Nottingham University, UK.
