Each contestant in the pageant must be a resident of Perry County. Each contestant must not have ever been convicted of any crime or have any criminal charges pending. 2. Past queens are eligible to compete again. If you win, you must crown the next year and cannot be a contestant in the same age division. However, the following year after you crown, you may enter again and if you move up to a new age division, you can compete again the next year. 3. The entry fee is $25.00 per contestant. 4. If there is only one entry in a division, that contestant will bump up to the next age division. 5. Attire for pageant: formal wear, flower girl style dress, prom dress or Sunday best. IN NO WAY does the cost of the contestant’s attire have a bearing on the outcome of the pageant. Dresses will not be judged. NO GLITZ WEAR. BRING YOUR DRESS TO SIGN UPS SO WE CAN APPROVE!! The Outfit of Choice must represent any story book character. Outfits will be judged on creativity and the personality that each contestant has during the OOC competition! 6. Makeup should be age appropriate and used with discretion. 7. NO FALSE ENHANCEMENTS ARE ALLOWED for age divisions 0-12 (flippers, fake hair, fake eyelashes, fake nails, spray tans, etc.) 8. ANY display of poor sportsmanship and/or unbecoming conduct, any interference and/or disturbance, or any other behavioral problem created by a contestant, traveling companion, parent, relative, or even a supporter of a contestant could result in disqualification of the contestant. There will be no refunds. 9. Contestants, parents and/or supporters are not to approach the judges at any time. Their decision will be final. If at the end of the pageant, a judge would like to speak with a contestant, it will be allowed. 10. All judges will come from out of county. 11. There will be a Queen, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up in each pageant. 12.
