Pre-registration is required no later than June 17th 6:00 p.m.; please print the registration paperwork and mail it to
the Henderson County Fair along with a copy of your birth certificate. Mandatory meet and greet will be held for
participants of this category 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Henderson County Fair Grounds concession stand.
Refreshments will be served.

Any contestant that has competed on a professional level will be ineligible for this pageant (Professional
is defined as: Any contestant that has performed or competed for monetary gain in anything other than
amateur contest)
Contestants must have reached their 8th birthday by July 1st, 2015 and cannot have reached their 13th birthday
by October 31, 2015 the year the pageant is held.
Contestants must be the winner or runner up in the local contest. The contestant winner will become ineligible
to participate in any other local contest. (Runner-up is accepted should for any reason the winner become
ineligible or unable to attend the Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows). A contestant must represent
the first fair that she wins first place in during that calendar year.
Contestant interview appearance:
 Each contestant will have a 5 minute interview
 The dress code will be an outfit that the contestant feels is representative of their personality however
they must be age appropriate. (no shorts, all skirts must be knee length)
Contestant evening dress appearance:
 Contestants can wear any length dress however it must be age appropriate (knee length or longer)
Contestants may have female adult assist them while preparing for the pageant
Contestant is responsible for their clothing and personal items – Fair will not be held responsible
The winning contestant will be expected to attend the following:
 The Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows state wide competition on behalf of Henderson
County in October ( registration for this event will be provided)
 Henderson County Christmas Parade
 Friday June 26th and Saturday June 27th 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Henderson County Fair
 Livestock awards on Monday June 29th and Tuesday June 30th
Awards are as follows:
 Winner Trophy, Crown, Sash, and $100.00 towards expense to the state pageant
 1st Runner Up – Trophy
 2nd Runner Up – Trophy
 Miss Congeniality
Winners of the Miss Henderson Pre-Teen Pageant will be ineligible to compete in this category in the future.
ALL JUDGES DECISIONS WILL BE FINAL
