Dear Church Family,
Our church is hosting an exciting Camp Discovery Vacation Bible School June 15-19. It
will be a great time for kids to grow in faith as they explore God’s Word.
We pray that Camp Discovery gives us opportunities to introduce children and their
families to Christ and our church. We hope to help our own children grow in their
faith in Jesus while reaching out to children in our neighborhood. This makes VBS a
key outreach ministry in our congregation and our local community.
You can help make this happen! Kids need Camp Discovery materials. The cost is projected to be $35 per child. Please help us meet our Camp Discovery goals by providing
support in one or more of these ways:

Pray for our volunteers and the children and families who participate.
Volunteer to help. There are many jobs, even if you can’t be here during VBS week.
Enroll your children or grandchildren in Camp Discovery and invite friends and
neighbors too.
Sponsor a child at Camp Discovery VBS by donating $35 per child. Note “VBS
Scholarship” on the memo line on your check.
Thank you for your continued support of Christian education and outreach at our
church.
May God bless our partnership in the Gospel, as we lead children to Jesus.

PCC Needs
We are all aware of the difficulties
the Presbyterian Community Center
(PCC) has keeping the pantries full.
First Church has agreed to step up and
help fill those empty cabinets. We are
requesting our members bring canned/
dry goods to help their plight.
You may put your donations in the
PCC can (looks like a large Campbell
soup can) located in the Ramp Room.
