Casting Audition Announcement
Townsend Opera and Fresno Grand Opera announce joint casting auditions for the 2015/16 season.
Repertoire will be produced by Townsend Opera, and performed in Modesto, CA and Fresno, CA as listed
below. Townsend Opera is located in Modesto, CA, 90 minutes southeast of San Francisco, CA. Fresno
Grand Opera is located in Fresno, CA, 90 minutes south of Modesto, CA. Remuneration negotiable, in the
standard range of a level 4 company, plus home stay.
Audition Information
Date/Time: Sunday, June 7, 2015
Late morning, early afternoon
Location:
Walhberg Recital Hall
2380 E. Keats Avenue, Fresno (on the campus of Fresno State University)
Repertoire:
Three selections: Major aria from desired role (need not be memorized), major aria from
memory in a similar style, and one aria/song in English
Materials:
Bring three copies of your resume and headshot, references with phone numbers, and
information regarding availability and possible scheduling conflicts
Fee:
$10 – accompanist provided
