fullerlodgeartcenter.com June 8‐12 My Face in Every Media – Livy Snyder A portrait a day in multiple mediums such as paint, charcoal, collage, clay and more. The goal is to expand the aspiring artists repertoire of experience in different mediums and to conquer the self portrait in one week.($110) June 15‐19 Fun with Fabric Sewing – Piper Wohlbier This week long workshop will offer hands on instruction of basic hand sewing and machine sewing. Projects can include a variety of practical and whimsical items to keep or give as gifts. ($110) June 22‐26 Illusions – Livy Snyder Illusions will teach an aspiring artist the tricks to fool the viewer into thinking Art is magic. Students will learn perspective and create outdoors using chalk along with other mediums.($110) July 6‐10 The Earth without Art is just “Eh” ‐ Livy Snyder This class will tap into the basics of Urban Art utilizing stencils, spray paint, lettering and stickers! Students will also study contemporary artists in the street art field like Shepard Fairey for inspiration.($110) July 13‐17 O'Keefe to Kahlo (Folk Art) – Lhasa Lea Explore watercolor and painting – explore perspective, foreground and background, American Modernism and Folk Art, retell life happenings as in “Frida” by Jonah Winter and “My Name is Georgia” by Jeanette Winter. ($110) July 20‐24 Anything Can Be Art – Livy Snyder Using a wide range of materials including graphite, charcoal, and ink washes for mark‐making, take on a variety of techniques and subject matter including drawing from the figure. ($110) July 27‐31 Gnome Homes – Laura Parkison Create a cozy cottage for a fantastical creature in ceramics. Students will experiment with Sculpey oven‐
baked clay and air‐drying clay. ($110)
