Summer means…
Vacation Bible School time!!
Ardmore First United Methodist Church invites
children to Everest: Conquering Challenges with
God’s Mighty Power!
Kids, this means a ton of fun things are planned
for you, starting with a VBS Kickoff Bash on Sunday, June 21 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Colvert
Ministry Center. At this pre-VBS party, everyone
is invited to enjoy the fun with face painting,
bounce houses, hot dogs and ice cream. Bring the
entire family to the VBS Kickoff Bash!
On Monday, June 22 at 9:00 a.m., Vacation Bible
School begins in our Sanctuary. After opening assembly, everyone will break out into age groups
for crafts, music, Bible Adventure, group games,
snacks and recreation (where we will have huge
inflatable bounce houses!). The morning will end
continued on next page
...VBS continued
as the whole group comes together for closing assembly and pick up at 11:30 a.m. We will have so much
fun through Thursday, June 25.
Although we expect kids to have a great time, Vacation Bible School is not just for fun. More importantly,
it’s a time to connect with Jesus. Our goal is that kids will come to know that Jesus loves them and wants to
be their very best friend. For our church family, this means that we have a great mission to help children
discover life’s most important relationship. There is no greater calling.
Thank you to the many who have already begun to prepare for this year’s Vacation Bible School. We are
expecting God to use Ardmore First United Methodist Church to provide a fabulous experience for the little
ones He has entrusted in our care. Please do your part today by registering the kids in your life (see below
for a registration form, or you may register online at www. fumcardmore.com).
