AROGYA PARTICIPATION
It was a matter of privilege that Director, Central Council for
Research in Yoga & Naturopathy, New Delhi placed a telephonic
request to the college placement cell for providing four yoga
demonstrators for participation in State Level Arogya Mela to be
held by AYUSH and Government of Haryana in association with CII
from 20th to 23rd February, 2015 at Parade Ground, Panchkula.
Four of our B.Ed. Yoga students viz. Ms. Manu, Ms. Aruna, Mr.
Chatterpal Singh and Mr. Vikas took part in this Mela for live yoga
demonstrations and yoga therapy.
On a similar request and for the similar purpose, another batch of
four students viz. Mr. Vineet and Mr. Arshdeep Singh from B.Ed.
Yoga and Ms. Manju and Ms. Satnam from Post Graduate Diploma
in Yoga Therapy were sent as yoga demonstrators at Arogya Mela
held by AYUSH from 12th to 15th March, 2015 at Panjab University,
Chandigarh. At the same venue All India Ayurvedic Mahasamelan
was also held.
