FINISH MATERIAL SYMBOLS
CREATING A FINISH MATERIAL LIST FOR A PROJECT
Navigate to Families>Annotation Symbols>Finish Material Specification
Expand list by clicking [+]
Drag individual spec from Project Browser and place on Sheet
To Modify spec placed on Sheet, select the specification, and click Edit Type from Properties dialogue or click on
Symbol text.
Edit information and click OK. Fields that are blank will not appear in the symbol on the sheet.
To Add spec to the list, select a spec in the project browser>Right-Click and select Duplicate
Rename the new spec
Drag and place new spec on sheet and Edit Type>Update information.
NOTE: This is now the control for what is available when it is time to place the finish tag symbol.

PLACING FINISH MATERIAL TAG SYMBOL
Navigate to Families Category>Annotation Symbols>Symbol – Finish Material
Drag appropriate Finish Symbol into a plan, elevation, section or detail view
Select the symbol in the view
In the Properties Dialogue>Select appropriate Finish from Finish Code pulldown list.
NOTE: As an Instance property only the selected tag symbol(s) in view will be affected.

In the Properties Dialogue>Select appropriate Finish from Finish Code and Wall Base Code pulldown list.
