The Georgia Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) created an
Annual Scholarship Program in 1994 to help deserving college students in pursuit of
their educational goals and who want to pursue a career in the public works field. A
total of twelve (12) $1000 scholarships may be awarded annually, one scholarship
per respective State District and one issued at the discretion of the Chapter President,
each calendar year to college students. Since its inception, the scholarship has been
awarded to nearly 200 students in the State of Georgia.
If you are interested and currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Technical
School, College, or University and considering a career in the public works arena,
you are eligible to receive this scholarship. Please complete the attached application
