Georgia Fiscal Management Council 205 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive Suite 1652, East Tower Atlanta, GA 30334 The Executive Board of the Georgia Fiscal Management Council met March 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the SAO Conference Room, Floyd Veteran’s Memorial Building, West Tower, 15th Floor, Suite 1514C. President Randy Trowell called the meeting to order. Old Business: Minutes: Minutes from the March Executive Board Meeting were distributed and approved as read. Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer’s report dated March 24, 2015 was distributed and approved. Membership Committee: New membership applications were received from individuals in the following agencies: GRTA (1) and SBEO (1). The new membership applications were approved. Program/Professional Development: Tracy Arner from CVIOG reported to the Council. GBA will make a presentation on “The Master Plan for Downtown” at the April meeting. In May, Kris Martins from SAO will give the Council some feedback on the CAFR process. Meeting and Events Committee: President Randy Trowell reported to the Council. Registration forms for the conference in Jekyll Island will be available in mid to late April. The committee is looking for topics and speakers for the conference. Newsletter: Chad DaBella from Audits reported to the Council. The next newsletter will be available the week of March 30th. The July issue will be distributed thru SurveyMonkey. Scholarship: Donna Stapleton from TCSG reported to the Council. Scholarship information has been sent out to the colleges and state agencies. Website: Jason Matt from Regents has resigned as Committee Chair. Please contact President Randy Trowell, if you are interested in becoming the new Chair. Liaison: No Report. General/New Business: There being no further business, the motion was made to adjourn.
