- Sensor designed to measure atmosphere and normalize imagery and improve
image quality
- CAVIS retrieves atmospheric Aerosol and Water Vapor at the same time as the
image, making reflectance calculations easier.
- Also allows to create accurate metadata on clouds, snow and ice
