EXECUTIVE BOARD
CAMPUS CHAIRPERSON
 Acts as the main point of contact for the Global Brigades Chapter Adviser & GB Association
 Acts as the primary liaison between all brigades on campus, the Executive Board, & the
Leadership Team
 Chairs all meetings between the Executive Board & Leadership Team
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
 Responsible for taking meeting minutes, notifying Chapter members of meetings and events,
and administering day-to-day activities of the Chapter
 Coordinates all aspects of travel and works directly with the GB Travel Team
 Organizes flight payments & documents and handles travel emergencies/deviations
DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION
 Responsible for facilitating and presenting the Pre-Brigade Curriculum
 Prepare each group for reflection and education workshops during the brigade
DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING & GRANT WRITING
 Plans and coordinates bake sales and bottle drives
 Coordinates the Chapter’s Saddledome shift work
 Drafts and completes grant applications
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
 Coordinates recruitment marketing efforts
 Builds awareness about Global Brigades and development issues in Honduras, Panama,
Nicaragua, and Ghana
 Manages the website and social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS
 Maintain relations with the Sustainability Alliance and the Office of Sustainability
 Build relations with the International Office
 Actively seek out partnerships with other University of Calgary student organizations
 Organize and execute local volunteer partnerships for Chapter participation
DIRECTOR OF EVENTS
 Plans and executes the Kick-Off event after brigadier recruitment
 Plans and executes fun group activities for the entire Chapter
 Plans and coordinates the execution of the Annual Gala
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
 Manages Chapter funds on a day-to-day basis through a large working budget
 Provides ongoing budget information for each Director
 Manages the Chapter cash box at all meetings and events

 Chair all meetings with the Business Brigade
 Assist the Director of Education with Pre-Brigade Curriculum facilitation

PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH BRIGADE
 Chair all meetings with the Public Health Brigade
 Assist the Director of Education with Pre-Brigade Curriculum facilitation

 Chair all meetings with the Engineering Brigade
