The invitation for this public presentation is intended for all Vancouverites to attend and witness the powerful artistic expression of over 50 young dancers coming together to perform out of passion for the love of dance. International Dance Day originated in 1982 by the International Dance Council (CID) and is celebrated by millions around the world. For the first time, the City of Vancouver and the Goh Ballet are joining forces to bring the youthful vitality, emotional well-being, and positive interactions that dance represents to all who live, work and play here in the city. “Dance to the Beat of Your Heart” is specially choreographed by Goh Ballet’s Senior Instructor Adonis Daukaev and produced by the Director, Chan Hon Goh.
