GOMS Eblast 05-15-15
Site Employee of the Year
Congratulations to Jamie Bryant as the Granite Oaks employee of the year for
2014-2015. Jamie Bryant is a spectacular middle school teacher who touches
the lives of students and colleagues with her positive attitude and bright
smile. Jamie has a charismatic personality that attracts people to her and
causes students to strive to do their best for her at all times. Mrs. Bryant is an
amazing math and science teacher who is truly devoted to her students
learning and succeeding in her classroom. Two years ago Jamie volunteered to
take over as our Granite Oaks Middle School Math Lead Teacher. Her
leadership in the math department has been invaluable and helped our math
department tackle the huge task of bringing in the California Common Core
State Standards. In her spare time, Jamie is piloting our first year of the
seventh grade STEM Program at GOMS. She will undergo training this summer at UC Davis that will
enable her to bring STEM to the Rubicon Academy. Jamie’s hard work, student centered attitude, and
caring for all GOMS stakeholders truly make her an amazing educator who will always make colossal
differences in the lives of her students and coworkers.
