Dear Year 6 Parents and Carers,
Re: SATs Tests
As you are aware, our Year 6 pupils will be taking their SATs during the week beginning 11th May
2015. The children have worked very hard to prepare for the tests and are set to do very well before
they leave us for secondary school in a few months. We are all very proud of them and their
fantastic progress as we are sure you are too.
In order to ensure that we can offer the children a good start to the mornings of their tests, we are
inviting them to attend a special breakfast from 11th – 14th May. The breakfast will be served from
8.00am on these four mornings. The Year 6 staff team and senior staff will be present to give them
encouragement and moral support.
The table below highlights the days on which each of the tests will take place.

At the end of Key Stage 2, it is expected that a child is working at Level 4. Some of our children are
already working above age expected levels. With this in mind, some pupils will be entered for Level
6 papers. All children will sit the Levels 3-5 papers.
A meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday 21st April at 3.45pm where you are welcome to ask any
questions you might have about the SATs or any of the arrangements.
Please remember that it is vital that your child is at school on time every day of the SATs week as we
cannot sit the tests at any times other than on the days shown above.
Best wishes
