The role of the associate minister
is one of great importance, and yet
often misunderstood and underestimated. The associate minister's
calling is one that has the potential to greatly support the congregational need. This conference will
shed light on the four major areas
of concern for associates from understanding their calling, understanding their purpose, the decision about becoming a pastor and
understanding why they do what
they do. These areas need to be
better understood not only by associates, but by senior pastors as
well. We have joined forces with
some of the most dynamic pastors
in this area to facilitate what
I know will be a great opportunity
for associates and pastors alike. I
