Tamie Aberle (Bismarck, ND)
Tamie Aberle is the Director of Regulatory Affairs for Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. She has been an active
board member since her election to the board in 2012, serving on the Resource Development and Mission
Priorities Committees. Tamie has also supported the annual Death by Chocolate Event.
Tammie Vernon (Hazen, ND)
Tammie Vernon is an Elementary Educator with Hazen Public Schools. The parent of a former Girl Scout,
Tammie was a Girl Scout volunteer prior to her 2014 appointment to the board of directors to fill an
unexpired term. She has been involved with the Resource Development Committee and Death by
Chocolate Event.

Jennifer Baloun (Rapid City, SD)
Jennifer Baloun is a Business Banker with Great Western Bank. She was appointed to the board of directors
in 2015 to fill an unexpired term. Her banking knowledge has been an asset to the Finance Committee. The
parent of a Fifth Grade Girl Scout, Jennifer also has volunteer experience helping with Troop Meetings and
various events. She has also chaired the annual Women of Distinction Event.
Karen Beachy (Rapid City, SD)
Karen Beachy is the Supply Chain Director for Black Hills Corporation. A former Girl Scout herself, she was
appointed to the board of directors in 2015 to fill an open position in the SW District. Karen brings
connections within her community as well as a background of National and International service
experience.

Betsy Christianson (West Fargo, ND)
Betsy Christianson is a T&D Specialist for Titan Machinery. A former Girl Scout, she has recently completed
the United Way’s 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program and has served as an Account Executive for
the Cass-Clay United Way during their annual campaign.
David Rasmussen (Fargo, ND)
David Rasmussen is Vice President and Trust Officer for Frontier Trust Company. David has been an active
board member since his 2013 election. He has served on the Finance Committee and as Chair of the Board
Development Committee. David and his wife have been involved with the Purses With a Purpose Event.
Haley Wamstad (Larimore, ND)
Haley Wamstad is an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office. A
former Girl Scout, Haley has served on the Resource Development and Membership Connection
Committees since her 2013 election to the board.

Valerie Ladd Loudenback is Vice President of Grand Prairie Foods, Inc. and Founder of Dress for Success
Sioux Falls. She brings a comprehensive professional and personal network as well as special event, budget
and strategic planning experience.
