Eighty percent of American female senior business executives and business owners are former Girl Scouts.  “One Tough Cookie” – Recognition for Leadership is presented to a woman with a proven record of exceptional leadership ability in their professional career and who has demonstrated a commitment to encourage others to take leadership roles  “One Tough Cookie” – Recognition for Community Service is given to a woman who has contributed many years of service to the community through personal giving, contributing of their time and offering inspiration to others. Building on Girl Scouts’ rich 102 year history, annually these recognitions will honor women who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in their personal lives, professional careers and community service.
