The Position: Multimedia Designer and Developer – Full-time
Virtual High School is offering an exciting opportunity for an innovative and creative individual who is prepared to apply his/her
multimedia skills to bring VHS’s online courses to the next level! Virtual High School seeks one qualified applicant to join its growing
multimedia team as a Multimedia Designer and Developer. This individual will be responsible for working with the Multimedia Specialist
and Multimedia Assistant to create and coordinate the development of videos across VHS’s 70+ online courses. This individual will also
be responsible for creating and designing graphics, illustrations, and other assets for the online courses. This will be a full-time position
offering a benefits package after 6 months of continuous employment.
Salary will be commensurate upon education and experience.
The Qualified Candidate will have/be:









Bachelor of Design or related degree/diploma program.
A team player with excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional illustration and animation skills and/or experience.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
Experience with video production and web design concepts.
Experience with HTML, CSS, programming in conjunction with multimedia.
Experience with digital photography and photo editing.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Creative and innovative approach to multimedia creation.
The Ideal Candidate will have:



Work experience in the education sector.
1-3 years of experience in multimedia.
Experience with Steinberg Cubase digital audio software.
The Location: Bayfield, Ontario
This position requires the candidate to work in Bayfield, Ontario. Bayfield is a heritage village located in southwestern Ontario along the
eastern shores of Lake Huron. Approximately 200 km west of Toronto, and 80 km north of London, Bayfield offers scenic locales and
