AROUND THE HOUSE
BI-MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
March / April 2015
NEWS FROM THE COORDINATORS
Hello and happy autumn from all of us here at the Gawler
Community House. While this summer has been milder than
usual I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the hot weather. We
hope you are keeping cool and protecting yourself from the
sun.
We have had a busy time as usual with new classes
happening and plans for our new garden well underway. We’ll
have more news on that next time.

NEWS FROM THE OP SHOP
Our book clearance has been going well. We are making room for fresh stock which will begin appearing
on the shelves very soon.
If you’re visiting our shop during the next few weeks, we may need to ask you to be a little bit patient with
us at the counter. We have new procedures for using the cash register and some of us learn more quickly
than others!
We would like to congratulate Sandra Kennett who is our most recent winner in our Loyalty Card draw.
Sandra has won a voucher to spend in our Op-shop. Thanks Sandra for being a loyal shopper with us.

Community Lunch. This will be on March 27th.
Come along and share a two-course meal with a multi-cultural
flavour and listen to the winners of our *Harmony Poetry
competition read their entries. Wear something orange and you
could be in the draw to win a prize.
