What a fun week it has been during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! We
have enjoyed honoring our fantastic SUPERHERO Teachers and Staff with some
special surprises including a Continental Breakfast and the annual Appreciation
Luncheon. THANK YOU to Starbucks of Irving Pk. & Wise Rd, Riccardo’s
Restaurant of Schaumburg and The Seville of Streamwood for their donations and
support!

due date (April 22 ). Your participation in Hot Lunch enables PTA to fund many of
our programs and events throughout the year. Our dedicated Hot Lunch
Committee has already begun preparations for next year’s program so watch for
details in the upcoming weeks.

The 2015-2016 PTA Executive Committee has also begun preparations for the
upcoming school year and we are SO THANKFUL for Catherine Worthem – our
current PTA President! Cathy’s dedication and commitment to the students,
families and staff of our Hanover Community is unsurpassed. Cathy has
volunteered 11 years of her time and talents ~ her outstanding leadership and
service is a direct result of the great success of our PTA today. Cathy will continue
to serve, train and mentor our PTA Board in the upcoming school year. A heartfelt
THANK YOU Catherine for all you have done, and all you continue to do!

District 54 Summer Band and Orchestra
Registration for 2015 Summer Band and Orchestra program has begun!
District 54 students who have completed fifth, sixth, or seventh grade and
have had lessons on their instrument for at least one school year are eligible
to enroll.
Summer Band and Orchestra will take place July 6-23 (Mondays-Thursdays)
at Mead Jr High*.
Registration forms are available from any instrumental music teacher or at
http://sd54.org/music/instrumental/summerprogram.
*Please note: due to unforeseen circumstances, this is a change in location
from previous posts.
