 WORSHIP DIRECTOR -­‐-­‐ POSITION DESCRIPTION MISSION Design, implement, maintain, and manage the ministry systems, staff, & volunteers needed to execute the Fair Haven Worship ministry. The Worship Director serves as a member of the Fair Haven staff and is responsible to the Lead Pastor of Fair Haven Campus for the following: 1 Overseeing and executing weekend worship experiences. 2 Recruiting, training & deploying of all worship ministry staff and volunteers. 3 Overseeing and executing all worship design elements including stage design and video production. 4 Developing team leaders in all areas of worship ministry. 5 Serving as a healthy member of the Ministry Leadership Team in the implementation of the vision, mission, and values of Harbor Churches at the Fair Haven Campus. WEEKEND WORSHIP EXPERIENCES The Worship Director oversees all aspects of Sunday worship experiences and ensures they are carried out with excellence. Result #1: The Worship Director has planned out each weekend worship service at least ten days in advance. Result #2: The Worship Director has executed weekly rehearsals to prepare for worship services. Result #3: The Worship Director has created and updated planning tools (PCO, Pro Presenter, etc.) by Thursday afternoon prior to each weekend service. Result #4: The Worship Director has lead Sunday worship from the stage at least 3x per month. Result #5: The Worship Director has ensured that the stage and tech area is properly equipped and set up on Sunday mornings and properly broken down and put away following each service. WORSHIP STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS The Worship Director manages all worship team volunteers for Fair Haven. Result #6: The Worship Director has recruited, equipped, and provided coaching for all worship staff and volunteer positions needed, including: musicians, vocalists, lights, camera, screens, and sound staff and volunteers. Result #7: The Worship Director has communicated weekly with worship staff and volunteers regarding information for rehearsal and Sunday Morning services. Result #8: The Worship Director has scheduled and confirmed worship staff and volunteers for each worship service at least 10 days in advance. Result #9: The Worship Director has communicated any changes, cancellations or additions to Sunday services or rehearsals to all worship staff and volunteers by Thursday afternoon. WORSHIP DESIGN The Worship Director oversees the development of the design of the stage, service, and room for Sunday worship experiences Result #10: The Worship Director has led the recruitment of volunteers to execute stage and room design for every new sermon series. Result #11: The Worship Director has led the recruitment of volunteers to execute video elements for every new sermon series. Result #12: The Worship Director has ensured that all service design elements are planned and in place at least one week prior to using them in service. TEAM LEADERS The Worship Director is responsible for developing team leaders in all areas of the worship ministry including worship leaders, tech team leaders, and stage design leaders. Result #13: The Worship Director has recruited, trained, and coached at least 2 volunteers as worship/band leaders for Sunday mornings. Result #14: The Worship Director has ensured the recruitment, training, and coaching of a volunteer as a Design Team Leader for sermon series. Result #15: The Worship Director has ensured the recruitment, training, and coaching of a Team Leader for sound, camera, screen, lighting and video production. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS ●
