Job Description: VP-Tech Early College High School is accepting applications for Part-Time Secondary
Teachers in each of six content areas. Candidates for these positions shall possess valid NYS Certification in
appropriate content areas (multiple certifications preferred) and shall preferably have experience with
project based learning and progressive instructional strategies. Interested & qualified candidates must
upload the following documents to OLAS: (a) Cover letter; (b) Resume; (c) Three letters of recommendation;
(d) Copy of Teaching Certificate(s); (e) Copies of College Transcripts.

Who P-Tech Students are: VP-Tech students are incoming 9 graders who will simultaneously earn a
Regents High School Diploma and an Associate’s Degree in Quality Assurance from Herkimer College over a
4-6 year sequence in a college going culture. Students will have individualized pathways to completion,
work place experiences, mentorship, in depth project based learning and real world experiences in both
advanced manufacturing and quality assurance.
