In order to use 4G services, the 4G-ready SIM is necessary A leaflet which contains the simple steps to change your existing SIM to new airtel 4G-ready SIM 2. Why do I need this this SIM? This is 4G enabled SIM. 4G services can be availed only through 4G enabled SIM. If you already have 4G enabled SIM, you don’t need to activate this SIM to get 4G services. Even if you do SWAP also, there is no problem 3. I am a postpaid customer. Can I use this SIM for Prepaid only or it works for postpaid too? It works on both prepaid and postpaid. Any customer can shift to 4G through this SIM swap 4. Customer can swap from one 4G SIM to another 4G SIM. There is no problem here 7. I would like to avail double data which is configured for Huawei honor. How to proceed? SIM swap needs to be done first if you are in 4G enabled cities by Airtel. If you are already using 4G enabled SIM, you don’t need to do SIM swap. After that activate the offer as per below steps mentioned in point no.s 13 & 15. 4G offer can’t be availed on 4G if they do not use 4G compatible SIM. If offer is activated on other than 4G compatible SIM, offer will be limited to 2 months at 3G speed Customers who are from other than 4G enabled cities can get double data offer for 2 months irrespective of switching to 4G compatible SIM. Airtel has 4G license in many circles and is rapidly enhancing their 4G services across cities. However, to get the latest information of the available cities we would request you to visit www.airtel.in/4G . Present cities are Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Visakhapatanam, Hyderabad, Chennai 10. I have read about double data offer on my Huawei honor handset on Flipkart website (or email from Flipkart), what is this offer? Airtel is providing double data offer on 4G for 2 months in 4G cities. In non-4G markets also, airtel is providing double data offer on 3G for 2 months. This offer is available to both prepaid and postpaid customers by OPT-IN process. If you are a prepaid customer, you can activate the offer and then enjoy double data benefit from your next recharge. If you are a postpaid customer, you can subscribe to data pack and then activate the offer. From the backend, your data pack will be converted to double data benefit. For example, if you recharge or subscribe to 1GB 3G data per month, you will additionally get 1GB data. In 4G cities, you can get this for 2 recharges or 2 months (whichever is earlier) and the extra data is available on 4G. In rest of India, the offer is applicable for 2 recharges or 2 months (whichever is earlier) and the extra data is available on 3G. 11. Is this available to all prepaid recharges? Please call 121 to know more about this 12. What is the process to activate this offer for prepaid customers? Prepaid customer: The process to activate the offer is very simple. Step 1: You will need to first OPT-IN for the offer on the URL www.airtellive.com/offers from your Huawei honor handset using airtel mobile internet. NOTE: Please note that the offer will not work if you are connected to Wi-Fi or using a proxy browsers like Opera, UC browser, or if you are using the “Incognito mode” in browser Step 2: Once activation is successful, you will then get double the data in your next 2 data recharges in 2 months Step 3: The extra benefit will be credited in a separate account. To check your data balance you can dial *129*08# 13. How do I check whether I have received the Double Data offer?c Prepaid customers can check the data balance using *129*08#. This will show the balance in all of your data accounts. The double data benefit and market recharge benefit will be shown in separate accounts. Postpaid customers will receive the confirmation (or regret) SMS within 48 hours of your request time. The process to activate the offer is very simple. Step 1: This offer is available on the select data boosters or packs. You will need to subscribe to these BEFORE you can claim the Double Data offer. Step 2: OPT-IN / Register for the Double data offer on the URL www.airtellive.com/offers from your Huawei honor handset using airtel mobile internet. Is this available on all data packs for postpaid customers? This offer is available on select but popular market data packs. This is also known as data boosters for airtel myPlan postpaid customers.
