Holy Name of Jesus School GATOR GAZETTE March 17, 2015 Volume 28 Issue 25 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Dear Holy Name Family: I would like to ask for your help. We are experiencing a large number of pick-ups at the "Walker Door" from people who are parking along Calhoun, several illegally. In addition, there has been a disregard to the safety procedures we have set in place. We absolutely cannot jeopardize the safety of our students, staff, parents, and community members. I am asking that you help by using the car line unless you are a true walker (live within a 1 mile radius). Additionally, I ask that you communicate all of the dismissal procedures to grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. who may pick up for you. If we continue to have safety issues, we will be forced to close the walker dismissal completely and insist that everyone go through the car line. Thank you for your help. This Saturday HNJ will be hosting a Speech Tournament for elementary students from around the city. We wish our participants the best of luck! Also on Saturday, Jack Cousins, 3rd grade, will be shaving his head for St. Baldrick's to help fight childhood cancer. We are proud of you! This Sunday we pray for our 2nd grade students who are preparing to make their First Communion. They will have rehearsal and the Mass of the Blessing. I pray that you are continuing to have a blessed Lenten season. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything. In His Holy Name, Jessica A. Dwyer, M.Ed.
