Madison County Catholic Charities: is hosting its
15th annual dinner/dance fundraiser "Help On The
Move" on Sat., April 11, 2015 at the Holiday Inn in
Alton, 6pm to 11pm. Additionally, MCCC is
conducting its $10,000 raffle in conjunction with its
annual fundraiser. Tickets are $30/person which
includes dinner, beer/wine/soda, and dancing to
Marcel Strong and the Apostles. Raffle tickets are $25

Altar Society: The Altar Society will meet on
Tuesday, April 14 at 7:00pm, in the rectory. The
discussion for the evening: Altar of roses, quilt raffle,
and flea market.
Marquette News: Marquette Catholic High School
will play Hillsboro, MO on Sat, April 18th following
the Cardinals vs. Reds game at 1:15. Get your tickets
and come cheer on the Cards and Marquette! Tickets

E-cycling fundraising: Carlinville, Catholic
Charities, will be having an E-cycling fundraising
event on Sat, April 25, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in Virden, IL from 9am-12pm. CJD E-cycling
gives people a way to dispose of their electronics
appropriately. For info on what will be accepted and

Attention Graduates: Please contact Kevin
McNicholas, 535-5494 with Holy Ghost to get signed
up with Newman Connection’s High School Outreach
Program. The Program keeps high school and college
students connected to Catholic campus ministry. The
Campus Minister can then reach out to the student
prior their arrival on campus. This effort has shown
great success. We are keeping students connected to
the Catholic Church using technology & social media.
Census Forms: Holy Ghost and St. Mary’s goal is to
have a census form on each family of the parish. So
far, census response has been good. St. Mary’s has an
80% return, Holy Ghost 65% return. Special attention
is placed on the 8 census forms from families with
kids in our school still out. Not having a form turned
in will result in “non-parishioner” status with the
coming school year. FYI All parish families with
children in our school receive envelopes. Please make
every effort to get a form turned in. This office will be
conducting phone calls and resending forms through
mailing, to achieve a 100% response to the census.
