The success of our campaign, Finishing the Job - Building the Future,
continues! Reaching our $2.5 million goal will be a profound, sacrificial
witness that honors our past, affirms our present, and builds our future. If you
haven't made your gift yet, you will be receiving a packet of information
inviting you to join the campaign effort.
As we strive to reach our goal, every parishioner is being asked to prayerfully
consider their gift to the campaign. Fulfilling the vision of Finishing the Job Building the Future will require the gifts, sacrifice, and participation of all
families in our parish, proportionate to each household’s means and
obligations. Your thoughtful, prayerful consideration is appreciated.

Since May is the month dedicated to Mary, let’s make a very real
effort to increase our prayers to her, remembering that she is our
mother and wants nothing more than to lead us closer to her Son.
An excellent way to accomplish this is to say “The Angelus” as a
family together each day. After each short verse, you might add a
personal prayer, asking Mary to help you in a specific way.

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. (Mary,
pray that I would be joined with you and Jesus in heaven when I
die.)
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into
our hearts; that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was
made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and
Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the
same Christ our Lord. Amen.

ATTENTION
MOTHERS OF YOUNG CHILDREN
Holy Rosary is offering a study for Mothers with Young Children
called Momnipotent: The Not-So-Perfect Woman's Guide to
Catholic Motherhood. In Momnipotent the author, Danielle Bean,
provides much-needed encouragement to all women.
Momnipotent validates the dignity and importance of motherhood
by helping mothers to recognize 8 uniquely feminine strengths,
and how to use those strengths to find peace, purpose, balance,
and joy in being the woman God created and called them to be.
Small groups are forming for the Spring and Summer. Meeting
times and dates are not yet set. We want to hear from young
moms what time is best for you. Call Nan at 419-300-1045 to join.
Holy Rosary May Crowning will be held Wednesday,
May 6, at 7:00pm in the church with a reception
following in the church basement. All parishioners are invited to
attend and bring flowers to honor our Blessed Mother. Second
graders who received their First Communion this year will also
receive their Brown Scapular.
2014-2015 SUNDAY SCHOOL YEAR
COMES TO AN END
As our 2014-2015 Sunday School year comes to an end, we want
to give a very special thank you to our volunteer teachers who
made our year a great success. Amanda Walter taught our 5 year
olds and public school Kindergarten students. Our teachers of
4 year olds included Erica Bills, Abi Frankenberg, Regina Copeland
and Suzanne Smith who is also the coordinator of Sunday School.
Our teachers of 3 year old children were Gayle Beyke, Jennifer
Tester and Olivia Tester. Also, thank you to our substitute
teachers: – Suzie Christman, Caleigh Christman, and Rachel Smith.
We greatly appreciate you for giving your time to teach our
youngest parishioners about Jesus! We are looking for a few adults
to assist for next year. Please call the parish office for details.
