Devotional Candles by the Sacred Heart
Statue—Suggested donation $2.00. These
candles are now electric. Please restrain your
children from pushing the buttons. These
candles will stay lit for 5 days just like the
previous candles.
Handicapped/Wheelchair Accessible Pew—
the first pew on St. Joseph’s side of church
has been shortened to make room between the
first and second pew to accommodate a
wheelchair or someone who may need to
stretch their leg from an injury. Please be
considerate and leave the first pew open for
our handicapped parishioners, those with
canes or walkers, etc.

desserts needed. Please drop items off in the Parish
Hall Kitchen by 11:30am on April 11. NO SERVERS
needed this month.

Barres, Bishop of Allentown and the Helpers of God's
Precious Infants at the monthly Prayer Pilgrimage,
which begins with Mass at 8:00am at Notre Dame
Church of Bethlehem, 1861 Catasauqua Road. The
pilgrimage continues with The Rosary at the abortion
facility located at 31 South Commerce Way, Bethlehem
Industrial Park. Be part of the call to let your prayer
and presence bring God's everlasting, unconditional
love to all those involved in abortion.

Adult Confirmation –Bishop Barres will
celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation
for all adults of the Diocese of Allentown
who have not yet received the sacrament
on Sunday, May 24 at 12:00Noon at the
Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena.
If there are any adults in the parish who have not been
confirmed and desires to receive the sacrament, please
call Msgr. Dan at the Rectory.
Upcoming Community Events
STAND WITH US FOR LIFE! Mark you calendars for
the 5th Annual March for Life in Reading to be held on
April 26, 2015. The March will start with live music and
a rally beginning at 2:00 PM at Berks Catholic High
School Auditorium. At 3:00 PM we will walk from Berks
Catholic to Holy Rosary Church at 3rd & Franklin Sts.
where buses will transport us back to BC. Baby items are
also being requested and will be distributed to the Crisis
Pregnancy Centers throughout the area. We are asking
you to be part of this total community effort in support of
the Sanctity of Life! For additional information you may

Host families are needed for several Nacel Open Door
International students who will be attending Allentown
Central Catholic this coming fall. These F-1 visa
students speak English, are fully insured, and have their
own pocket money for personal expenses. Host families
provide room and board and receive a generous monthly
hosting stipend.
