What a very busy time! We moved! We now have a shiny new building with loads more space!!!!
Our new address is Cameron House, 13a Fairbairn Road, Livingston, EH54 6TS and our new telephone
number is 01506 415755.
Our fabulous volunteer, Lesley, through her employer, has gifted us £500 so we can provide a
FAMILY ROOM for you when you visit…..so watch out on Facebook for more details. If there’s
anything you specifically need or want in our new place just drop us a line and let us know. We’ve
already included a Baby Changing Unit, and we’re wheelchair accessible – we’ll have a PLAY CORNER
for the children also. Whoop whoop!
Family Outing to the East Links Farm
Our Family Outing will be to East Links Farm in August.
Let’s hope for better weather than last year!

Annual Passes for Families to use
We are delighted to be able to offer the Mill Farm Pass and The Hive Pass for families for the
coming year. If you’d like to use any to the Passes please drop us a line or call in (01506 415755) to
book please.

Home-Start Family Groups
As always the Groups are very busy providing an exciting programme of activities for Families as well
as directly with Parents, whilst the children are in the crèche. Due to demand for the Group in
Blackburn we have had to re-arrange a bit! We are now running two Family Support Groups in
Blackburn, one at Daisy Drop In, Livingston and one at Broxburn Family Centre. Still enough space
to offer a place for everyone who wants it though!

chat.

Once we’re all settled in here at Cameron House we’ll have an OPENING CEREMONY, so watch out for
details of that too 
West Lothian Foodbank
Home-Start West Lothian is a Foodbank distributor, and holds vouchers, which can
be given to Home-Start families in crisis. If for any reason, you find yourself going
without – please don’t – losing your job through redundancy or changes to
benefits sometimes mean funds are very low and we never want to see a family
going hungry! We are well aware that some of our families are really struggling. If
you find yourself in a situation like this please let us know and we’ll process an Emergency Pack for
you. Contact us direct at the usual numbers.
Become a Trustee!
Volunteering is good for the soul and what better way to volunteer than to become
a Trustee…… with Home-Start West Lothian! If you have a few hours a month to
spare and would like find out more about becoming a Trustee contact Cheryl at the
office. (Board meetings are normally held on a Monday at 12.30pm every 6-8
weeks.)
