The theme for April was planting and gardening. We planted grass head people, plants, and flowers. It was fun to read books
that compared how different types of plants and flowers looked as they grew.
In May, we will be learning about forest animals, pond life, zoo animals, pets, and the weather. The preschoolers will revisit all
of the number and letters that they have learned so far this year. We will be working on beginning sounds, rhyming words,
measurement.

In April, the children had fun planting beans and grass.
They liked being able to water the plants and wait and
watch for them to grow. They loved being able to get
outside and play!

In the month of April we learned all about planting and
gardening. We discussed what plants need to grow. We
will planted seeds and kept track of their growth. The
children learned to take care of their plants and
discussed and discovered how fun it can be to have your
own fruit and vegetable garden.
In the month of May we will learn about all kinds of
animals that live in the water, in the jungle or that fly in
the sky. We also will learn the names of these animals,
how they live and what they eat.
