During the month of March, the children learned about Community Helpers in our neighborhood. We had visits from a dentist,
police officer, librarian, EMT workers and fire fighters. It was exciting to learn about the important jobs that these people
do.
In April, we will be talking about Planting and Gardening. We will be working with the four elements needed for a plant to grow- soil,
seeds, water and sun. We will compare how different plants and flowers grow. We will be planting in classrooms and watching out
for all the signs of spring. We will celebrate Earth Day and have discussions about recycling. The Preschool Children will be
focusing on numbers, reviewing uppercase letters as well as focusing on lowercase letters. We will be working on beginning
sounds, rhyming words and measurement.
