The delivery organisation of the project, Hull 2017, has been set up to produce 365 days of transformative culture during 2017 through a range of diverse and high profile events and projects. To help us achieve this we are looking to recruit an experienced digital marketing professional to work with the Director of Marketing & Communications in developing the organisation’s digital direction and strategy and the planning and delivery of major digital projects. This is a fantastic opportunity and we are looking for a very hands on individual to really make an impact on one of the most high profile and prestigious events in the UK over the next few years. Ferens Art Gallery: Hull Museums Key Accountabilities G G G G a proven track record of exceptional senior level digital project management G Drive the development, delivery and ongoing enhancement of our new responsive website experience of successful delivery across digital platforms: large scale web builds, digital content projects, mobile apps and email campaign systems G Plan and execute creative, engaging digital content for social media and associated platforms strong appreciation of brand strategy and how to translate that into a compelling digital experience G a real passion for social media Support the development and implementation of our digital marketing, social media and e-comms strategy G Assume the role of in-house digital/web expert for the organisation G practical experience of one or more content management systems G Day to day management of external digital agencies G G Liaison with multiple internal and external stakeholders knowledge of API integration and experience of dovetailing multiple external platforms into one online experience G an appreciation of how to manage periods of peak traffic to minimize downtime around key events and announcements G a deep knowledge of consumer behaviours /experience and digital trends and innovations G good working knowledge of web analytics tools G strong written and spoken communication skills G sound budget management Required Skills and Experience G The successful candidate will be a highly experienced digital marketer who can demonstrate: excellent internal and external relationship-building skills G experience of complex multi-stakeholder projects G an active interest in and appreciation of arts and culture G Management of our social media presence and ecomms activity G Budgetary management of all digital marketing projects G Devise a robust analysis and reporting framework G Lead on our online streaming needs and content distribution G 5+ years working in a web/digital environment, either agency or client-side Head of Digital Marketing - Hull UK City of Culture 2017 How to Apply This is a full time position based in Hull until Easter 2018.
