Seminars, Events and Activities
WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL CLUB (UIC)
The University International Club (the UIC) is again this summer ready to invite staff, spouses,
and members of the International Community to some interesting and exciting weekly
summer activities, mainly to sites and events in downtown Aarhus.
Note the afternoon seminar Wednesday 10 June on AU Campus “Intercultural Relationships
- Life Outside the Comfort Zone”. In addition small excursions to events like Glassblowing,
Sculpture by the Sea, to APM Terminal, learn about boating, and not to forget an excursion
to the Danish Lake District, including the Sky Mountain (requires sign up), and much more,
which will hopefully only make you want to see more – or just add to living here.
To keep up-to-date with any changes that might occur, sign up for our Monday mails. These
are in addition to the weekly Thursday UIC Newsletters, useful when it comes to smaller (as
well as larger) events in the greater Aarhus area. Sign up by mailing to [email protected].
The UIC encourages a positive atmosphere and is there to help you integrate into AU, Aarhus
and Denmark in general. Please note that we meet up at different locations
and also at different times of the day.
