each visit, we’ll email you a short questionnaire, asking you to rate your experience with us. Your feedback is extremely important
and will be used to recognise valuable members of our team, identify training requirements and help us continually improve our
processes.
You may also receive a separate survey from the manufacturer – again your feedback is invaluable so collectively we can
understand what’s working well and where things need some additional attention.
This guide contains some information to support you throughout your ownership journey – we’ll be here to support and advise you

How Service Plan Works
Available at any Evans Halshaw Service Centre, we can
tailor a service plan based on your annual mileage to
help you spread the costs of your routine servicing into
interest free, affordable monthly payments just like any
other utility bill but with additional loyalty benefits!
Most customers take a plan over 2 or 3 years and starting
from just £8.49 per month it helps make servicing a less
worrying experience.
There are three levels of plan available:
Manufacturers Service – Follows the exact
guidelines as issued by the manufacturer when
they built your car, using genuine manufacturer
parts. This is our recommended option to
protect your vehicle’s re-sale value.
Essential Service - Follows the exact guidelines
as issued by the manufacturer but using
Evans Halshaw quality approved parts. This
represents excellent value for money
whilst not compromising on quality.
Value Service – Our basic level of service
which includes replacement oil and oil filter
using quality approved parts and a thorough
vehicle health check report.

Booking your Service & MOT online
We’ll remind you via your chosen method of contact when we think your vehicle will be due its next scheduled service or MOT.
However if circumstances change and your service is due before then, for your convenience you can book online at a centre
nearest to you by visiting www.evanshalshaw.com/bookaservice Here you can check your service price and choose a service to
suit your budget. Subject to availability you can also make any arrangements for extras such as courtesy cars, ‘While you wait’
appointments or collection and delivery services.

Our comprehensive Vehicle Health Check
With every visit to our Service Centres, we’ll undertake a complimentary vehicle health check free of charge. This is a
comprehensive 40 point check that operates a traffic light indicator system to assess your vehicles overall condition. All major
operational components are checked, including:

Oil and fluid levels
Air Conditioning System
Brake fluid testing
Anti- freeze testing
Battery checkTiming and drive belts
Brakes – including pads, discs, drums
Tyres wear and alignment
Steering Suspension
ExhaustHoses and Pipes

We’ll provide you with a copy of the report and explain the findings to you. Any areas marked as red are urgent safety items that
require immediate attention. Any amber items will require re-checking in the near future. We will explain this to you and contact
you again to schedule another appointment to re-check these areas.
If you get a Puncture
If you’re unlucky enough to get a puncture,
take it to your nearest Evans Halshaw
Service Centre. If the tyre is repairable we
will do it while you wait, completely FREE of
charge.
If the tyre is irreparable we understand
you don’t want the hassle of taking it
somewhere else. We carry a range of tyres
in stock, so we’ll discuss your replacement
options and help you find a tyre aligned to
both your driving requirements and budget!
We work hard to ensure our tyre prices are
competitively priced.
We are so confident of this that our price
guarantee means if you can find the same
tyre for less within 5 days, we’ll refund you
the difference in price.
If your car
isn’t driving right...
If you experience any unusual noise or feel that your vehicle is just not
driving as it should, contact your nearest Evans Halshaw Service Centre to
request an appointment for an Initial technical assessment.
The appointment is complimentary and involves:
Consultation Discuss the issue with one of our service advisors so we can
achieve an accurate understanding.
Technical review A trained member of our technical team will undertake a
15 minute review of your vehicle to gain further understanding of the issue.
No cost will be incurred for this.
Evaluation We’ll discuss and explain our findings with you and make
appropriate recommendations. Any costs involved for resolving the issue
will be fully explained and we won’t undertake any work without your prior
approval, so you’re in control!
If you get dents, scratches and scuffs
on your paintwork...
Car door dings, supermarket trolley scratches and dents
are unfortunately regular everyday occurrences which can
take its toll on your vehicles bodywork. Thankfully there is
a solution to keep your car in showroom condition with the
Evans Halshaw minor damage repair team!
Provided the area of damage does not exceed 15cm and is
not situated on the roof or bonnet, we can arrange a repair
booking at your nearest Service Centre with our minor
damage repair specialist team.
While you Wait appointments are available for paint-less
dent removals – so relax in our customer waiting area,
enjoy refreshments and catch up on your emails with use
of our complimentary WIFI.
Where paint is required, we will require your vehicle
for a minimum of four hours to ensure the repair dries
effectively.

make an appointment. Our Service Reception team will
be able to provide you with an approximate quote for the
repair.
If you are involved in an Accident
Evans Halshaw Accident Assistance is a complimentary service for
all Evans Halshaw customers. Our aim is to get you back on the
road as soon as possible with minimum inconvenience.
How it works:
Call the Evans Halshaw Assist line on 0845 078 4530 (lines open
24/7, UK based call centre).
If your vehicle is not road legal we will recover it from anywhere in
the UK mainland to one of our authorised accident repair centres.
We liaise with your insurer to commence organisation of the vehicle
repairs.
We repair your vehicle as per your insurance company guidelines
and get you back in the car as soon as possible with minimal
inconvenience.
If you were not at fault for the accident we will provide a like for
like replacement vehicle to keep you moving.

it’s better to be prepared!
Protecting your financial investment
Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) is available to purchase from your local Evans Halshaw dealership within 30 days of your
vehicle delivery date. Return to invoice Cover over a three year period or Finance Gap up to a 5 year period, GAP is designed to
help protect you in the event of your vehicle being deemed a total loss.
How it works:
GAP cover will pay you the difference between your comprehensive motor insurance policy pay out in the event of a total loss,
or Glass’s Guide Retail Value and either the net invoice selling price, or the amount of any outstanding loan (whichever is the
higher). Dealer fitted accessories are also covered up to a value of £1,500

Tyre & Alloy Wheel Damage Cover
Irreparable punctures and kerbed alloy wheels are everyday
occurrences and frustrations to many motorists. Our
comprehensive tyre and alloy wheel damage cover can help
protect you against this.
Our tyre and wheel damage cover is available from any
Evans Halshaw dealership from only £199 and covers you
over a 2 or 3 year period against accidental and malicious
tyre damage.
It will also maintain the ‘showroom look’ for your alloys.

Protecting your paintwork and upholstery
Keeping the ‘just from the showroom’ look of your vehicle is always difficult
– UV rays can fade the paintwork and the interior is often subject to mud
and drink stain spillages from every day use.
Help protect your vehicle and its re-sale value with a one off paint and
fabric protection treatment from Evans Halshaw for just £199.
Laboratory research has proven to extend the life of the bodywork from the
date of application- so no there’ll be no need to polish your car again. The
fabric treatment allows spillages to be easily wiped away without staining.

Evans Halshaw Mechanical & Electrical
Guarantee 12 or 24 months
Evans Halshaw Guarantee is an invaluable product for when the
manufacturer’s warranty has ran out on your vehicle and you would like
continued protection against mechanical and electrical failure for peace of
mind.
The Evans Halshaw Mechanical Breakdown Guarantee is available over 1
year from £399 or 2 years from £495 and provides cover on eligible vehicles
for up to a maximum of 20,000 miles per year, provided your vehicle does
not have any more than 120,000 miles in total on the odometer reading.
• All mechanical and electrical components including labour to fit them
are covered (conditions apply)
• There is no limit on the number of claims that can be made (provided
the claims do not exceed the purchase price of the vehicle)
• Roadside Assistance Recovery and Home Start is included for the policy
holder and up to 7 passengers
• Vehicles are accepted at all Evans Halshaw dealers nationwide
• Up to £150 travel costs or overnight accommodation is included in the
event of a breakdown leaving you immobile.
• The Guarantee is valid for 60 days per annum for driving in the European
Union.
• You must ensure your vehicle is maintained in line with manufacturers
recommended guidelines.
• For a small fee, the Guarantee can be transferred to a new owner of the
vehicle provided there are no pending claims.
