Digital River acting as Merchant of Record (MOR) and Seller of
Record (SOR). When we act as MOR on your behalf, we are held
liable by the financial institution that processes the end consumer’s
credit and debit card payments. As the SOR, clients sell their products
to us for resale—we process orders on their behalf, collect and
remit order payments, sales tax, process foreign exchange, and
simplify the end-to-end accounting process.
