With Healthways Onsite Well-Being Coordination™, Healthways can provide a full-time
onsite health promotion specialist to be the point person for your well-being improvement program and work directly with your population. As an extension of your benefits
or wellness team, onsite health coordinators create and promote a culture of well-being
by scheduling, promoting, developing and implementing health and well-being support
programs and activities at your worksite(s).
Providing an onsite expert to help design, promote and coordinate well-being improvement initiatives can drive stronger adoption and sustained engagement among your population by creating an environment where engaging in a well-being improvement activity
becomes the easy choice.
Tailored to Your Unique Culture and Population Needs
Collaboration is the key to success. Armed with aggregate assessment results from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being 5™ and working in partnership with your HR team, your onsite
health coordinator can create an annual calendar of activities that target your organization’s
overall well-being improvement needs and performance improvement goals.
Onsite Support Options
The following are examples of worksite well-being initiatives and support options that your
onsite health coordinator can provide:
• Biometric Screening Coordination: The Health Promotion Specialist can participate in
event planning and promotion, help coordinate worksite logistics, provide oversight for the
event, and encourage participants to leverage available health support services to address
identified health risks.
• Health Fairs: The onsite health specialists can aid in planning and coordinating health fairs
by engaging with current health services vendors as well as identifying local community
resources to participate in the event.

• Face-to-Face Health Coaching: Some individuals prefer to engage in face-to-face conversation with a health expert. Whether the individual has a one-time conversation or engages
in a sustained coaching relationship, an onsite coach can be a highly accessible, trusted
resource and afford a greater level of accountability for some individuals.
• Education and Seminars: Onsite health coordinators can deliver group educational
programs on a variety of health topics, which can be offered during or outside of business
hours and can be provided onsite as well as via WebEx. Coordinators can tailor educational content and format to the specific needs and culture of the worksite, ensuring an
informative, engaging experience and often promoting other components of the overall
program. Onsite seminars also offer a comfortable place for individuals in your population
to share and lean on one another for social support and accountability.
